I hope this is posted in the correct place. I've been trying to re-install ms security essentials for hours now. Originally, the update wasn't working - everytime I tired to auto update essentials I would get a 8004ff80 error. I followed these instructions: And attempted to reinstall - I get the same error. I have no other virus software installed and have had essentials for quite a long time.
